Architect Michael Dunn adapted this cottage "blessed" with multiple past remodels to fit the needs of this couple looking forward to slow down in a beautiful Gull Lake lot. A new floor plan that gives guests a private suite, an attached garage, and a reshaped kitchen and master suite gives more open space and expansive views to the lake and the updated landscaping. Updated windows, roofing, and siding make the home more reliable for the future, and mini-split heat pumps add more comfort when the humidity overwhelms. A problematic low sloped roof was improved with more insulation and a cold roof over framing the original roof. New cedar shingles and numerous shed and eyebrow dormers along with a prominent belvedere and columned porch gives this previously confused cottage a cohesive look and a bright future.
